Terms, Releases & Privacy

Effective 09/03/2025Welcome! This page explains the policies that apply when you order custom trading cards and memorabilia from MintiCo (powered by Craftology by Nancy). By placing an order, you agree to these terms.Audience & Order Scope
• Custom orders are available for both minors (children) and adults.
• For minors, parental/guardian permission is required before submitting photos.
• For adults, the person ordering confirms they have full rights to any submitted photos.Privacy & Data Collection
• What we collect: Contact info and uploaded photos are collected via Tally (embedded in Carrd), Etsy, or Shopify.
• How we use it: To design, produce, and ship your products; for order communications; and for optional marketing if you opt in. Anonymized images (first name only or first name + jersey number for minors) may be used for portfolio or marketing.
• Where it lives: Customer data is stored in the platform used for the order (Tally, Etsy, Shopify). Export and backup your consent records securely.
• Retention: Keep parental consent and order records for at least 3 years for minors; adult orders are subject to your own recordkeeping preferences.
• Third-parties: Purchases processed through Etsy or Shopify follow their privacy policies.Parental/Photo Releases
• For minors: A parent/guardian must check the web release checkbox on Tally, confirming consent. Full text is available here.
• For adults: The person ordering confirms they have rights to the submitted photo(s). No separate consent is needed.
• Team orders: The coach/manager/parent rep confirms permission from all minors submitted. Adults included on team orders confirm rights themselves. Full text is available here.Certificates of Authenticity, Relics & Autographs
• All relic and autograph cards include a COA card describing the item and edition number.
• High-value relics may require third-party authentication (e.g., Beckett, PSA). Buyer assumes authentication fees if requested.
• MintiCo keeps provenance records for all relics or autograph items.Intellectual Property
• Submitted photos: Minors’ photos require parental consent; adults confirm rights. Photos may be used to create products and portfolio samples.
• Card designs: Templates, layouts, and creative elements remain MintiCo intellectual property.Orders, Proofs & Turnaround
• Proofs: Digital proofs are provided before printing for all custom work. Approval is required before production.
• Turnaround: Times vary by product and quantity; estimated dates provided per order. Rush options may be available for a fee.
• Changes & cancellations: Changes after proof approval may incur additional charges. Orders canceled before proof approval are eligible for a refund minus processing fees. Custom orders are generally non-refundable after production begins.Pricing, Payment & Shipping
• Pricing: Displayed on storefronts (Etsy, Shopify) or quoted for custom/team orders. Relic pricing includes acquisition and authentication costs if applicable.
• Payment: Processed through Etsy, Shopify, or embedded Tally. MintiCo does not store card details.
• Shipping & insurance: Standard domestic shipping is included or quoted per order. High-value items may require insured shipping; buyers assume insurance cost.Returns & Refunds
• Marketplace purchases: Subject to Etsy or Shopify policies.
• Custom orders: Non-refundable after proof approval, except for defects or damage in transit. Report damages within 7 days with photos for replacement, repair, or refund.Liability
• MintiCo is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Maximum liability for a claim is limited to the purchase price.
• We are not responsible for actions, policies, or issues arising from Etsy, Shopify, Tally, or any third-party shipping/printing service.Affiliate Links & Sponsorships
• Some links on the site may be affiliate links (e.g., Amazon). If a purchase is made via these links, MintiCo may earn a commission at no extra cost to the buyer.Changes to Policies

Effective Date: 09/03/2025Parties & Purpose
This Release Agreement is between the person submitting this form or signature ("Releasor") and MintiCo (“Company”). It governs the submission and use of photographs and related materials for the creation of custom trading cards and memorabilia products.Who this covers
• Minors: If the subject in the submitted photo is under 18, a parent or legal guardian must give consent.
• Adults: If the subject is an adult, the submitting person confirms they have the right to provide the photo and grant the rights below.
• Team submissions: A coach, manager, or authorized team representative may submit multiple photos as a single “team order,” provided that representative attests they have obtained parental/guardian permission for all minors included.Grant of Rights
By signing or checking the acknowledgement, the Releasor grants MintiCo a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, and display the submitted photograph(s) solely for the following purposes:
• Creation, production, sale, and distribution of custom trading cards and related memorabilia for the Releasor and intended recipients; and
• Portfolio, sample, and promotional uses by MintiCo (digital or print), limited to first names and/or jersey numbers for minors (no last names or personal contact information published for minors).Limits of Use & Privacy Protections
• For minors, MintiCo will not publish a child’s full name, address, contact information, or other private identifiers without additional written consent. First names and jersey numbers may be used for design/context and marketing samples.
• For adults, MintiCo may use first and last names only if the adult submitting the photo gives explicit permission (please indicate preference in the order form).Team Orders
When a team representative submits photos for a team order, that representative attests and warrants they have obtained permission from each child’s parent/guardian. Adults included on team submissions confirm they have the rights to the images they provide.Certificates of Authenticity, Relics & Autographs
• Relic and autograph items will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) describing the item and edition information.
• MintiCo will retain provenance documentation for relics and autograph items. Buyers may be required to pay for third-party authentication for high-value items; MintiCo may facilitate authentication services where requested.Ownership & Intellectual Property
• Releasor retains ownership of original photographs.
• MintiCo retains ownership of all card designs, layouts, templates, and creative elements produced by the Company.Release & Liability
Releasor releases, indemnifies, and holds harmless MintiCo, its officers, employees, agents, contractors, and assigns from any claims, liabilities, or demands related to the use of the submitted photo(s) as permitted in this Agreement, except where caused by MintiCo’s gross negligence or willful misconduct. MintiCo’s liability for any claim related to a product is limited to the purchase price of that product.Revocation & Term
This release is effective upon submission/ signature and remains valid unless revoked in writing. Any revocation will apply only to future uses and will not apply retroactively to products already created or published.Records & E-Signatures
Checkbox acknowledgements, typed names, and timestamps captured via Tally (embedded in Carrd) or platform submission records shall be treated as valid electronic signatures under applicable law. Maintain your own copies of submissions and consent records; MintiCo recommends retaining consent records for at least 3 years for orders involving minors and for longer in cases involving relic provenance.Miscellaneous
This Agreement is governed by the laws of State of Texas, USA. If any provision is found invalid, the remainder still applies. This is not a waiver of any consumer rights required by law.Questions? Email us at [email protected].
